Concealed Desire

Concealed Desire

I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book from the author to review. This book was so good that I couldn't put it down and I read it in one sitting. I am now a fan of Eden Summers.

Ms. Summers writes with a honest realistic voice which makes her (main)characters Beth and Dean feel the same way. How they behave and interact is believable: lots of times in the books I read, the sex and love between the characters feels fake or forced- not the case here- the chemistry and feelings between this couple feels and reads authentic. Another strong point is that Beth and Dean both are aware of and admit to their behavior that contributes to their conflict.

Beth Graison and Dean Sutherland both work together at Sutherland & Son(Dean) and have kept their feelings for each other a secret. That is until Dean's father propositions Beth. Upset, Beth leaves work to grab a few drinks and later meets up with Dean. After sharing time together, neither can keep their feelings or attraction at bay. Dean's reputation as a player makes Beth wary but his feelings and actions eventually prove that she's the only for him.

This book has the perfect blend of humor, heat and heart. Happy Reading.
