BOOK CLUB THURSDAYS: LUCK O' THE IRISH

I'm not Irish. But with St. Patrick's Day around the corner we decided to pick that as a theme.

Not an easy task to think of someone other than Nora Roberts. So I am choosing her.

So here is my pick :

ABOUT THE BOOK:

For Adelia “Dee” Cunnane, her uncle’s invitation is a dream come true. He wants her to come to America to work with him at one of the most respected stables in the country. Starting as a groomer puts Dee in constant contact with the horses she loves—as well as Travis Grant, the stable’s proud owner. And as the lush Maryland horse country begins to work its charms on Dee, so does Travis, pulling her into a turbulent passion with unexpected consequences…

This book hold a special place in my heart for a few reasons. It's one of the first "adult" romances I read as a very very young lady and it was my first Nora.

I was lucky enough find an original copy of this book (nothing beats that first edition's cover- again probably due to nostalgia). In fact I'll have to dig it out now and read the whole series!

I'd love to hear what your first Nora was and any of your favorite Irish romances are.

And don't forget to check out what my best friends picked:

  2. Nora is a good choice and I almost picked her. My favorite Irish trilogy is Jewels of the Sun with the Gallaghers.

  3. I've never actually read any Nora Roberts (I know I know, please don't crucify me!) I do have some of her books, I acquired them during some of my "book blackouts" (lol)

Also, I don't think I've ever actually read an Irish romance before...

    1. Some of the older books (by any author, especially the contemp romances) are dated LOL But such a guilty treat! :) The only thing "Irish" about the book is theme LOL
