BOOK CLUB THURSDAY-READING CHALLENGE 2016

WELCOME BOOK LOVERS

I apologize for the delayed post. I hope you having a great day no matter where you are and that you are enjoying a good book.

We here at BCT are back to doing our Reading Challenge. More information about us, your BCT bloggers, can be found by checking out the Pages at the top of my Blog. It's also where you can find more information about what we do on BCT.

So, in a nutshell our Reading Challenge entails each of reading a book that matches a theme from a list we made.

My choice for this RC:

READ A NOVELLA

This novella pick goes hand in hand with what I chose for my Clearing Off the Book Shelves earlier this month (read more-click here)

Quentin Wallace has it all. He's got money in the bank from his lucrative job as a Manhattan contractor, and he runs with the big dogs of his were pack. But when he meets and falls for Nadia—who's soon to be named the leader of Chicago's Henderson pack—he knows he's in over his head. Nadia belongs to a rarefied world; Quentin would sooner be seen in torn jeans than in an Armani suit. But when Nadia's new position is threatened by a rebel were, Quentin has a chance to prove his worthiness and his love—and show her the alpha-male inside.

This pretty much picks up shortly after book one. It's the story of Nadia (secondary character from book one). I liked her then and was happy to see that she got her happy ending here in this novella.

This novella was witty and a quick read, and also sets up the next book in the series.

Nadia is a great character- an eco-conscious clothing designer from the Chicago Pack (I can't help love books with a that connection being from (well close enough) Chicago).

Quentin is sexy and the best part is that he supports Nadia. He assists her but doesn't take over when she must handle a huge pack problem involving Theo (he's back(from book one) and crazy as ever).

Although I wish a few things concerning that resolution was better handled(there's a huge something left unexplained), this was still a quick fun read.
