This week we have:

These are fun themed weeks when we each "Remember When" concerning something book related.

This week I'm actually posing a question:

Remember When you didn't finish that book?

Maybe you didn't like it or maybe it didn't strike your fancy or hold your interest at the time.

Perhaps you never finished the book for any number of reasons, and don't plan too.

I'd love to her about the the last book you didn't finish and why OR about the book you didn't finish then went back and read.

Here's a bit of a tease -

One of the last books that I recall not finishing is:

HER PERFECT LIFE IS A PERFECT LIE.

As a teenager at the prestigious Bradley School, Ani FaNelli endured a shocking, public humiliation that left her desperate to reinvent herself. Now, with a glamorous job, expensive wardrobe, and handsome blue blood fiancĂ©, she’s this close to living the perfect life she’s worked so hard to achieve.

But Ani has a secret.

There’s something else buried in her past that still haunts her, something private and painful that threatens to bubble to the surface and destroy everything.

With a singular voice and twists you won’t see coming, Luckiest Girl Alive explores the unbearable pressure that so many women feel to “have it all” and introduces a heroine whose sharp edges and cutthroat ambition have been protecting a scandalous truth, and a heart that's bigger than it first appears.

The question remains: will breaking her silence destroy all that she has worked for—or, will it at long last, set Ani free?

I have the hardcover and have NO clue what the "new material" in this edition is.

I tried reading this back in 2015 when it came out and some buzz was starting to circulate around it. I got about 60 or so pages in and put it aside for various reasons...

Recently I picked it back up but you are going to have to wait until next week to read my review. And case you are wondering, yes I finally finished it!
