simply put, a golden oldie, at least for me, is a book that is a keeper/favorite for one reason or another. a book like this one:

this was my first book that i read by her and one of the first historical romances i read(okay maybe in first ten or so LOL)

i am very lucky to have met her and gotten a signed copy of this book!

it's been a LONG time since i read it but i remember it being SEXY and a bit...dark...harsh...edgy??? LOL maybe i should just round up my copy and actually read it again!
